Are we all becoming Internet tycoons?

Less than 10 years back the “Internet bubble” burst and we all thought that the days of making money on the Internet were gone for good.

Yet, lately there has arisen a whole class of people who are making a living in the online world. This time, they aren’t the tycoons of the past making millions by just registering a domain but instead they’re the little guy just sitting writing his blog and finding the world of paid posts and adsense opening up in front of him.

This in turn is lighting a fire under the number of websites being set up. On a Postcard wouldn’t have been here had we not started to make money on our other projects for instance but there are many more useful websites out there creating collections of freely available information such as the Whole Earth Guide among many others.

Considering a cross tattoo?

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

Not so long ago if you told someone that you were getting cross tattoos then it was almost certainly going to be some kind of heavy metal deal.

Not any longer. If you browse the selection these days you’ll find cross tattoos at all ends of the spectrum. Sure you can get the original type but you can also get some really elegant ones as well.

Anyway, you need to throw away your preconceptions of what you think they are these days.
