You know the story: you’ve just seen a fantastic job but the timing is really bad for you.

It’s just happened to me and I’ve just dropped the application in as you do. Now, I’d be dead disapppointed if I didn’t get short-listed and have therefore written the usual over the top application. Also, whilst it would cause major hassles if I did get the job, I’d be disappointed if I didn’t get it.

Oh well.

It seems like ages since James was at school so it was a bit of a shock to the system this morning to have to get up and round to the school before 9am.

Since it’s Monday, it’s library day too which means an earlier than usual trip back after lunch. Well, it would have done but we can’t find the library book that he needs to take back so that’ll have to wait ’til next Monday now which is a bit of a bummer as we’re just getting nowhere with it.
